Nick Coley | BDS GDC Number 57269
Nick Coley is a highly qualified dentist and implantologist with more than three decades of professional experience. He qualified at Kings College London in 1982 and worked for five years in general practice in the City. In 1987, he moved to Cornwall and became a partner at Lander.
During this period Nick was also a clinical assistant at Derriford Hospital, Plymouth, in the Department of Restorative Dentistry, treating broken and worn teeth, advanced gum disease and medically compromised patients. He has gained postgraduate certificates in Restorative Dentistry, Periodontology and Dental Materials from the Eastman Dental Institute, University College London.
Nick is also an experienced implantologist and has been placing implants for more than 15 years. He gained the Certificate in Surgical and Prosthetic Implantology in 2002 and the Advanced Certificate in Implantology at the Eastman Dental Institute in 2006. Nick is currently studying for a post-graduate Diploma in Implantology at the Royal College of Surgeons and has taught at Peninsula Dental School in Plymouth University. He, too, is an active member of the ADI and ITI.
Nick is also a skilled operator of CEREC™ technology that allows experienced dental practitioners to take digital imprints and sculpt beautiful and natural-looking replacement teeth, crowns and veneers while you wait. The CEREC™ machine CAD/CAM system requires training to advanced level and Nick is a very experienced CEREC™ practitioner.
