Lander clinicians use a diode laser for most of the gum surgery we perform, including gum contouring. We have invested in this piece of equipment because your safety and comfort is our top priority. This high precision laser is aimed at the treatment site and gently but accurately dissolves the soft tissue.
The intense light beam both sterilises the area that is being worked on and cauterises the soft tissue as it goes, meaning little to no bleeding, minimal post-operative pain, rapid healing and low chance of infection. Gum contouring can be performed in one appointment and is a reliable method of enhancing your smile.
